Hi, I’m Meiyi, a doctoral researcher passionate about exploring motivation-enhanced learning experiences for diverse learners through learning science and innovative technologies. With a background in UX design and design research, I’ve spent seven years studying and working in the U.S., gaining interdisciplinary experience. I earned my master’s degree in Educational Technology and Learning Sciences from the Human-Computer Interaction Institute (HCII) at Carnegie Mellon University, where I also served as a research associate. My undergraduate studies were at the University of Washington, where I majored in philosophy and psychology, with a minor in informatics on the HCI track. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring nature, creativity, and mindfulness.
